Patsy's New Home Ceremony

A Wonderful Occasion!!

We celebrated Patsy's victory in purchasing a new home. The celebration was filled with praises, prayer, hugs, and smiles.

Representatives from Valley Interfaith Promise and

Columbus Habitat for Humanity participated in ceremony.

Patsy gave testimony and gave thanks to all who helped along the way.

Local media outlets were on hand to witness the event. Patsy’s Story was published front page in the Ledger-Enquirer and shown on WLTZ-38, WTVM-9, and WRBL-3.

The day was filled with surprises!!

Just eight months ago, Patsy and her two children were found outside a local hospital. The homeless family hovered near a generator trying to stay warm.
A local minister found them and referred them to Valley Interfaith Promise. Since entering Valley Interfaith Promise, Patsy has established employment and is now a homeowner.

This is the first family to purchase a home through VIP’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity Columbus.
